Possession of cheat sheets, writing on desktop, open books, writing on self or personal belongings, constitutes INTENT.
Suspicion or observance of foreign material during quizzes, tests, or exams, will be treated as cheating.

While the instructor encourages students to work together and share ideas to gain an understanding of coursework, the individual learner is ultimately responsible for his/her own work. A “0” grade is difficult to make up. Also the embarrassment of cheating carries its own stigma.
